why are guys so afraid to just open up and go with it?

Well all l can do is speak for myself, lm not afraid of a relation. l would love to meet that special person and give her all that l have, but l can also ask why does it seem allot of women now days dont want a relation, im the type you ask me l will tell you.lm very open minded.

Men aren't afraid of commitment, they are afraid of what changes in a relationship that more commitment might bring. For each person you have to figure out what they are specifically concerend about losing or changing, and address those things directly. Then he'll not only be willing to commit, he'll be looking forward to it. Unless of course he's too young and hasn't yet figured out what it is that he wants, then you're really going to have some problems with those guys!

Guys spend there whole life closed and alone. So that is a good 20 years. Guys know they have only themselves, they can't trust anyone else for the whole time growing up. (it's the classic, boy gets hurt and everyone stays way back and says 'get up wimp'/ girl hurt everyone runs over and hugs her and cries and takes care of her).
So then the guy gets to 20 something and suddenly he is asked to open up? Even if he wanted to(and he does not) he does not know how too.......

I have found that every woman that I have ever tried to open up to has used whatever I told them to hold over my head. Besides, I have also found that women tend to go for the bad boy type. The more you act like you don't care the more the woman seams to want you. Maybe you can tell me why that is.
