Yes I do. Just to give you a quick example how things work on a full moon...There are more crimes, there are alot more pregnant woman going into labour and giving birth on a full moon. People have a tendency to get more aggravated and moody on a full moon. You also have witches that do certain incantations during that period. The full moon brings about alot of different energy. Next time there is a full moon. See how you feel, or how other people are around you. There are other things that happen on a full moon that a small book could be written on.

Yes, I believe that strange things happen during a full moon. The ERs' fill up, so do the Maternity Wards. During a Blue Moon (the second full moon in a month), the effects are only aggravated.

I truly believe that "strange" things happen during a full moon in the sense that...In a purely scientific way, the moon, the earth and the sun all play vital parts in how the atmosphere, tides and living things live and grow or..not grow.
For example: a plant needs both sunlight and moonlight to grow properly...as do we.
I'm sure the encyclopedia can explain better when you have more time to read but, cultures have based many of their worship, traditions and religious practices on the sun and the moon..such as the native americans. Anyway, if you tell people the full moon has little or no effect on people's actions....you will just ruin all possibilities of enjoying a great werewolf movie and popcorn! :)

Yes, whether they happen due to a scientific reason that is not yet fully understood, or if people are influenced by the notion that strange things happen then, or if people are more observant of strange things during the full moon...the outcome is the same, strange things happen during a full moon. The moon affects the tides, it affects temperatures and frosts as every hardcore backyard gardener knows...so why would it not be a possibility that it affects people's behavior also?

Sure - but its psychological as opposed to supernatural: because there is the idea about strange things happening during a full moon people are predisposed to do things that are strange and thus compliant with the myth. It is a form of self-fulfilling prophecy.

The shadow of the Earth is missing and the sun is shining on the entire moon's surface. That's what a full moon is. Why would that affect people of make strange things happen? It doesn't.
If strange things happen, it's because people believe strange things happen during full moon. They're subconsciously making them happen, but the moon itself has no effect on people's moods.
It's an old wives' tale.
