I have always been told that stories about my mentally ill mother would make a great novel or case study. We could start with the first time my home burned to the ground. I was three. Mommy and Daddy were'nt getting along too well. Seven years later another home burned to the ground. Mommy and New Daddy weren't getting along. Mommy made Daddy write checks drawn on a closed account to purchase his uniforms at the police academy so he would get fired because he was going to be more successful than her.

I had a dream that I had a stroke and turned into a quadriplegic. My old buddy Dan would pick me and my wheel chair up everyday. He would take me to the mall and put a cup in my hand and a sign around my neck asking for money. At the end of the day he would return and tally the earnings up, usually kicking me for only making about $2.50 in an eight hour span.
