My sister lets her children watch adult swim, but her & her husband don't allow music with cursing. Does this makes sense?

AGES? 10 and under..NOT A CHANCE!! 10-11 a little hazy...12 and up...they already know what is being implied, said or shown.

If the adults are just swimming what is the big deal? I can understand them not allowing the music with curse words.

well i think futurama isnt too bad but depending on there age they probably shouldnt watch family guy or american dad if they dont want there kids to hear cursing. adult swim is on late so adults can watch it after there kids go to bed

depends on how young they are. the cartoons on adult some are some of the best cartoons out there. the art is first class (venture bros, boondocks, korgoth, minoriteam- all EXTREMELY well done art) and there are a lot of really good messages in some of them.
i probably wouldn't let someone under 10 watch them. anyone under a certain age won't understand most of it, anyway- most of that stuff is pretty abstract.

sure,its a good line-up of cartoons and cussing that kids hear
everyday anyway. no,it does not make sense. adults grow out
of the music thing. turn that damm radio off ! remember?

no it doesn't. my kids like to watch it but I dont like it that they do.... but they watch it anyway... i listen to early uncle Kracker music. so i do allow the cussing in MY music... go figure...
