One man can have only a limited capability of learning, only his own experience to rely on and only his senses to believe in, while a group of people, such as a family, a nation or the whole mankind have all their history to learn from, a 'filter' of many different opinions and technology (or, at least, more eyes, ears, etc.) to observe more things in the surrounding world. Yes, a man can have exceptional IQ, but it can never be measured with the history of man.

When you get good answers, each is good, but if you put them together, you have the most complete, best answer of all. All of us together come up with better solutions than one person just thinking alone. That's why so many businesses have people work in teams.

it's a liberal, collectivist cop-out meaning that if everyone shares ideas and everyone gives and takes, the conclusion conclusion the masses will be better than the conclusion reached by one individual. it's a fallacy; it's compromise; it'ss moderation; it doesn't work... some things CANNOT be compromised.

That when you put many minds together they can come up with better solutions to problems, more creative ideas etc.
