Tricked Out Honda Civic

I suggest tinting the windows first. You can get it done pretty cheap or you can even do it yourself, but it's not easy to do it right. If you haven't done it before, be prepared to do it several times until you get it right.

From there, you can work on the sound system (new deck, speakers, subwoofer, amp, capacitor) or get some new wheels. Anything beyond that is going to cost money.

Of course it also depends on what you want from the car. I've got a Honda Del Sol Si. I know it's not a sports car so I havent' tried to turn it into one. I've lowered it, given it a cool paint job, added some wheels and a good stereo system, but I started by tinting the windows. Leave the engine alone and enjoy your gas mileage and reliability.

Mustangs are slow as dogshit anyway. Try an F-body. Civics(and every other riced out economy car) are gay as hell. There are fast ones out there, but its more like 5 out of 100 of the riced out civics you see out there that actually have sh*t done to them. And in the end, its still just a stupid civic. Ricing out 4 bangers is old and childish. I'm sure there are 12 sec hondas roaming the streets, but i promise it took more money than its worth and its still only as fast as a real sports car. Congratulations! you dumped 10 grand into a shitty economy car so you can say you are as fast as a trans am!. I would still rather be seen in a trans am. Then i would take half the money you spent on your car and dump it into mine and cut a couple seconds off my quarter mile. Oh, and that reliability and gas mileage that they are famous for? GONE! It will get the mileage of a v8 and be less reliable than one.

"can beat the trickest honda anywhere... "
ok, let's see a stock mustang, even a gt, run a 1/4 in 13.2 seconds.http://www.importtuner.com/features/0109it_1995_honda_civic/index.html Not even a new GT Mustang can beat that. If I were tricking out a civic, I'd start by getting new air filters and maybe a cold air intake. Then exhaust, next a new clutch, and then maybe a turbo.

Trade it in for a Camaro or TA. Oh wait you said you wanted to go faster. What was I thinking. They don't make those anymore.
