but now his family is calling her, trying to get her to help him out with his depression or something along those lines...how should i react to this, especially if she isnt telling me these things?

you should first ask her kindly why she is keeping these things from you,there could be an explanation for her not saying anything also,he is calling her,perhaps she should ask him and his family(firmly) not to call her again.

If she really didn't want anything to do with this guy she would make it ABUNDANTLY clear when she receives phone calls from him. What's up with this guys fam? Calling your girl and trying to guilt trip her into talking to him? What's that all about? It doesn't sound like you've been with this chick for very long so get out while you can, cut your losses and move on. This chick sounds like she may have a lot of drama surrounding her. Is that what you want to deal with? Maybe you should have a little chat about honesty first and see what comes of that before you make any decisions, just make sure that if she is going to remain in contact with the ex and his fam that she is honest with you about it. If she just lets you know what's going on then it won't seem like she has anything to hide because, as of right now, it appears that this is something she is trying to keep from you and that's not fair to you. It is called manipulation. If she is in a relationship with you and has truly moved on then she needs to set some clear boundaries with him and his family. If she cannot cut ties then you may need to move on.
