what kind of shocks???

hi, i have a 2001 f-150 crewcab , its lowered , and i need new shock, so what kind should i use , its there a special shocks for lowered trucks, or are all the same?????? rear and front

good question, if you lowered it with a kit from a manufactor then ask them, if you heated the springs then guess what, you get to figure that out on your own, i did that kind of math years ago but now i just buy the kits
