Is Wearing All Black Really A Bad Thing?

Im Wearing Black Dress Up Pants, Black tank top, black dress up shirt and black shoes..im at work and im getting a lot of weird looks and q's like am i goth,etc..i like to wear black cause its my favorite color..i wear blue a lot too..

nothing is bad if it is what you want. Are you comfortable? There are going to be people out there who will hate on you no matter what you do. Most of those people, if you really pay attention, look pretty ridiculous.

If it is your favorite color and you like what you have on, who cares what anyone else thinks anyway? Just concentrate on making sure you look good for that sweet fiance' of yours and forget about what everyone else thinks! ;-)

Black is the base of all color, it goes with everything, especially more black! I wear black all the time, year round. It is my favorite color. Followed by red, white and the jewel tones as an accent color, as a girl, I can do that, you can accent your black with neutral colors. I used to wear blue a lot, must be a phase we go through :) And people are looking at you because you look good. Black projects confidence and "cool". People ask you silly questions based on their own insecurities. Don't spend valuable time thinking about what they say or ask. There are two answers to every question: Yes or No. You may answer the question, but don't offer any explanations. It just adds to the "mystery man" in black! They wish they could pull it off, or put it on, as it were the way you do. Your ensemble sounds great. Next time you wear an all black combo, try a white tank under your black shirt, it will drive people crazy! Happy Snappy Dressing!

There is nothing wrong with wearing black. A lot of people feel more comfortable in black or dark colors. Unless you wear the colored hair and the jewelry, nose or tongue rings, etc., they should not have any reason to think you're goth. And what if you were? That doesn't mean you are mean-spirited. A lot of goth people are as sweet as anyone else: they just dress differently.

This is supposedly the land where one can dress and think as they please. It pleases me to think you're a sweet person who is dressing to please yourself.

I wear alot of black too. I dont get weird looks but every so often I get asked if I am depressed or in mourning.
I say no and I tell them that black is my power color. It makes me feel good, helps me disappear and its slimming.
Quite often though I try and pair black with a splash of color just to keep things interesting.
Like black pants and blazer with a red top..etc..

Wearing all black is not really as much of a fashion statement as it is a social statement, these days. Most of the time, it's best to have some variation in colors, unless you like getting weird looks and comments.

Wearing all of any color all the time just doesnt look good. Why not blue and black together ( I dont believe in the never wear black and blue together thing) instead of SOLID black or blue????

No, it's not a bad thing. It might be nice to throw in a color with it to spice up the look - i.e. red (or green, or blue, or yellow) shirt with black pants, shoes and jacket.

As long as your comfortable and happy it's o.k don't worry what people say you are whta you are and you need to be proud about it I love to wear black also as a matter of fact I love black but I don't wear it as much as you but the color makes you look thinner hahahaha margenta is also a great color

i have the same problem i love to wear all black and everybody looks at me strange like they are afraid of me lol
and some have even asked me if i'm goth
its just a color !
i wish people were not so judgemental
i'm not goth i'm a christian but i love the color black and i love to wear it !
