You people who never ask any questions: are you just greedy for points or do you already know everything?
Do you specialize in certain topics?
Do you research your answers or just shoot from the hip hoping for 10 points but happy for two?
Any other comments? I'm just dying to know.

I hae a lot of time, and I learn a lot here, also I hopefully help someone once in awhile.
I don't ask a lot of questions ... but I READ a LOT of them ... that is every bit as much informative.
I tend to answer travel, computer, and relationship questions mostly
And yes, I research answers when I need to, and a lot of things I know from years of life experience.
I love answers, if you read through them, you can learn so much about human nature, and about a lot of subjects.

I only ask questions if they are necessary. I'm not greedy for points, I just want to express my opinion about certain questions.
Yes, I do stick in certain topics, mostly Entertainment and Music. I usually go to the Music and Polls and Surveys section to be exact.
I research my answers if they are song lyrics or if I can't think of the answer at the top of my head! I usually don't waste my 2 points, I try to make my answers as best and helpful as I can.
I like Yahoo! Answers a lot but it really gets on my nerves when people ask really stupid celeb questions, like, "Who hates Paris Hilton?" It's like they are trying to make a poll or something!!

I just like answering questions, I only ask questions when I really believe it will get legitimate answers instead of the typical obnoxious smart a$$ answers. I like to ask the type of questions that make you think a little before you answer, at the moment I have only asked two questions both of which I felt very adamant about before I asked them. I really don't answer questions expecting 2 or 10 points I answer them because they catch my attention and they are something I really want to answer, I answer questions of all varieties, not a particular topic just whatever strikes my fancy. I hope this answer was what you were looking for, and if not that is cool because I chose to answer this.

bored, got addicted, now I MUST reach level 7.
I am not a know it all in the bad sense. I do like to gain as much knowledge as possible simply to have it. Don't wanna be one of "those" people who can't carry a logical discussion without having to excuse themselves to go to the bathroom in order to duck out of the fight. My q's are generally opinion based, not looking for any real answers but just curious about what others think and so forth. nice to mingle with folk from across the nation and beyond. certain answers I will research if I don't know what it is. can't really explain something you're not familiar with can you? I go in all areas and topics. I do find myself migrating to the cleaning and laundry section quite often.....don't know why. But I'm a it of a tech junkie so I'm usually in the computer/video game/cell phone areas.

I just hope that my answer may help someone. If it doesn't then thats okay too. As far as the points go....well that doesnt matter to me. I just got bored one day and clicked on and starting reading some of the questions....My first answer was for a chicken recipe and it was chosen as best answer....I was happy to share a family recipe. I do not answer anything that I dont know anything about.

I like to play. It feels like I'm doing something productive when I answer serious questions and is entertaining to answer the fun ones. I research some things but others life has already given me the answers. I don't ask many questions as i haven't come up with one that I can't solve on my own.

I'm bored.. it's fun... my friend laughs at me because she'll call and ask me what I'm doing.. and I'll tell her I'm answering mindless questions on here for meaningless points.. I'm a wealth of useless knowledge.. so it gives me a chance to do something good with it!
