Speaking as a retired business owner and having been on both sides of the interview table, it might not be in your best interests to put such information directly on your resume.

A better idea might be to list it under volunteer work, if and when the employer asks you for such information.

I say that because becoming Level 6 is about the number of questions in which you've participated; having 3000 answered questions is not the same as having 90 % of your 3000 submissions chosen as Best Answer. It is up to you on the best way to phrase your ratios; I'd still recommend waiting until the prospective employer asks about any volunteer work.

It would only be effective if you are using it as 'OJT' for a counseling position. If you are applying for work as a mechanic, it would be irrelevant.

Additionally, your prospective employer may have no idea what Yahoo Answers is all about; or could be unconcerned with your participation in such an endeavor. You can determine that during an interview and make your best judgment at that time.

I have to agree with ax2usn. I wouldn't but it on the resume. The type of position and specific employer would determine whether and how to bring it up.

Friendship, no it isn't risky....my contacts merely this week helped me turn my head faraway from the darkness and in course of the person-friendly....it is no longer delusional in any respect, yet a truth.

It maybe a good move ... it would certainly start people thinking.

I am at Level 2 and aspiring to your level. Do let us know if it helped at all.

NO! spending all day long on a computer does not mean you will be a qualified employee

Nope: it might beg the question "where does he/she find the time to answer so many damn questions on Yahoo!", a likely answer for which - from a boss' point of view - is, "While working, duh!"
