Hi I'm gonna have my 1st homecoming this year. And I was wondering what type of dress should I look for? Cocktail partyish? Is It a sorta casual event? Like my date just in a dress shirt and our parents dropping us off? Also fashion for this year would also be appreciated.

Windsor has beautiful dresses! They always keep up with today's fashions too. I can look at those dresses for hours! They are stunning!

Since this is your first homecoming....and homecoming is semi-formal, you should go for a flirty coctail dress. A simple solid, flowy halter dress will do the trick. Purple, green, and coral are hott right now. Then trick it out with dangling earings and matching bracelets. No need for a necklace when wearing a halter, but if u must, make sure it dangles! you don't wanna do too much because with every year comes a better dress! Don't make it hard on yourself! Have fun!

This will be perfect! Just use this website below and try to match your personality with your dress and the formality of the event. Usually homecoming is fancy, but not as fancy as prom. You can never go wrong with a simple black dress. Simple is important though if you don't want to over dress (should hit at the knees and have some kind of straps, no shiny crap, or big frills).

A homecomming isnt as formal as the prom , so I say wear a cute semi-formal gown , maybe one from david's bridal ... they have a large assortment of dresses .... or just try a fancy skirt and top ..

yes to the cocktail dress nooo to the black, rich jewel tones for this year ruby,emerald, amethyst tones are hot! keep the style simple so it can be worn again and dress it up with smashing accessories and lots of confidence

i love cocktail dresses, i have alot and usually when i go to dances i wear my favorite black one unless its a very special occasion ( winter formal or prom etc.) if u prefer long ones then i suggest going to DEB, they have great dresses in all lengths, or i buy them at ross, they are cheap and beautiful.

dont dress in floral dresses!
do something like a solid colour halter dress with a little bow somewhere.
