Yes, she will be so glad that you did. My 10 month old would never eat the plain rice cereal but when we gave her the rice and apples she lapped it up. It is made to be easy on the little tummies so dont worry about the apples.

After a week of the rice cereal start with the apple sauce by itself for a week and if not allergic to it after that it is ok to mix it. Never mix any foods until they have had it at least 3-4 times.

I used to make the rice cereal and then add some of the applesauce from the jar...mix it in and yummy

If she's eating other things, just ditch the rice cereal. It's mostly filler and has little nutritional value. Applesauce by itself is fine.

id put applesauce in the cereal dont give her whole pieces of apples unless shes old enough but i didnt quite understand your question...

I have a six month old and he eats applesauce....it is fine.
