sure! are you really stressed? have you had a major life change, such as a change in job, a move to a new house, a new school, starting college, or a new family member? have you had a family member or friend pass away lately? have you been really sick lately/in the hospital? any of these things can cause you to be super-stressed, and therefore skip your period. if you miss one here and there while youre under stressed out circumstances, its normal. it could also just be due to a small cyst on the ovary that is messing with your hormones enough to make you skip your period. if you begin skipping multiple periods, contact your doctor. but if it is just one here and there, its normal and i wouldnt worry.

That is 100% normal. I have had my period now for 6 years, I am 17. And, I had a period earlier this month, but before that, I hadn't had a period in 3 months. It just means your periods could be irregular. Nothing major.

Did you just not have it or did you skip it with birth control pills?
If you are stressed out, that can cause you to miss a period, or being sick, other things can be a factor too. If you don't feel right, see your doc. I wouldn't worry too much if it only happens once.

It depends on the cause. Amenorrhea can be caused by many things - some as benign as low body fat from an extensive workout routine to things that are more serious. The best thing to do is to make an appointment with your primary doc and your Gyn to find the cause. Good luck and take care!

it happens, if you are young, or have been sick, or stressed..there are any number of things that can make a lady miss her monthly (besides being preggers)., so if you are absolutely sure you are not pregnant, wait a month, unless you are experiencing some pain or something...of coarse you could (or should) always check with an OB/GYN

It is very normal. Stress or not eating can cause you to miss a period.
