why do people say that violence isnt the answer? What if they ask "what isnt the answer?" Is violence the answer then?

Violence has always been the answer. Do you think the police carry guns because they will not have to use them, should we just unilaterally destroy all of our weapons? How long do you think for it to take before we would have a foreign dictator ruling the US with an iron fist?
So, yes unfortunately violence is the answer, I wish it were not, but wishing would not protect me or my loved one for very long from some person who thought very differently.
Now I am not saying that we should go over board and start beating other people up or bombing villages in the Sudan. There has to be some happy median where we can protect ourselves with out becoming mass murders.

Violence is the answer in many cases for a lot of people. My definition of violence is: The physical expression of ignorance. Violence is the answer as every question does. In contradiction, violence is definetely not solution.

Because there is a big difference between the answer and the solution.

Over and Out.

The word "answer" is used here as "solution".
Therefore Violence isnt the "solution". And if they ask " what isnt the answer?" Then Violence is the answer, because Violence is not the "solution".

violence isn't the only answer in most situations but sometimes people just need to be smacked upside the head for them to realize what they are doing is wrong or better yet instant justice. See take it as you will but a good *** kicking will never hurt anyone. Usuallly makes them smarter. Being humbled is a gift accept it even if it comes by me. Special delivery

ha! funny!

Its a possible answer.

but ur question is dealing with two different situations.
the first question is to deal with the surrent situation probably a fight that is starting to resort to violence. and the second a question that is just a thoughtful question, not really affecting the situation at hand.

nice question.lol

Drugs isn't the answer? I don't know, maybe there is no answer to this question. Anger isn't an answer. Sadness isn't an answer. I could choose to be a violent person and smack my girlfriend every time she is a b*tch, but i think that will drive her to suicide(she would probably kill me too). So what isn't the answer?
