It was called the dark ages. All knowledge had to come and be approved from a little man in a pointy hat living in Rome. Anything that wasn't approved or agreed with brought about a death sentence.

Maybe we wouldn't know so much about so much, but if science never existed, that would mean tha we didn't wnt to know! So, about that, we would be happy.
I don't agree that science is very important for health - if there were no cures for desieses, we would have grown resistant to them. An example of this are the African tribes - those people exist in this world maybe even longer then any other, and always have some virus in their air. Still, they are here, today! The only thing which is bothering them is the HIV virus, and it is an artificial virus, made by man!
Someone spoke of the Middle East?
That is really the stupidest thing I've read here, so far. The Middle Eastern cultures are the very mother-civilisations of science! Only, they knew more about astrology, medicine, mapmaking and so, and the Europeans knew more about war and all those delightfull ways of how to kill a man! This is how they abused the eastern world and slowed it's progress down! This continues now more to the west of Europe...
The world without science would go on as usuall, only we couldn't obstruct it.

The world would be like without scientific development. Meaning their are some good and bad in all things. Maybe without science, we would not have so many weapons, drug etc... which destroy our lives. Yet again, we may not have cured so many diseases. The world would have been different. How would we know the difference if we did not know it at first?
Over and Out.

We would still be living in the dark ages. Every scientific phenomenon would be seen as a sign from God, or the devil, a sign of reward or punishment. We would be burning witches at the stake. We would have completely destroyed ourselves by now and wouldn't be having this conversation.
