Because liberals don't talk facts... they just blow air so what could they possibly talk about on a daily basis... you can only bullsh!t for so long!
Crystal also has a point.. Liberals would much rather listen to music and then just bullsh!t their way through a conversation about politics that they know nothing about.

I think the last presidential election speaks volumes more than any ratings system representing only a very small percentage of Americans overall... let's take a look...
In an election with an incumbent president during war time... which usually means you're basically unbeatable... with even a weak democratic candidate... the results were:
Bush: 51 percent
Kerry: 48 percent
that's pretty close to even...
but, overall... I think it comes down to the fact that liberals don't really listen to opinion shows... the closest being "the daily show"... which is more of a comedy show...
conservatives on the other hand seem to love to listen to radio opinion shows...
why? I don't really know... but to say that the issues that conservative opinion shows are "fact" is heavily misleading in my opinion... having listened to several... they seem to be based much more in opinion and twisting the truth...
Much like Michael Moore's movies... which the last one was also a huge success... but that's not the issue...

I can say the same thing for the conservative radio. Honestly, it could go either way. There are different fanbases for both.
However, there's some truth in what you say. I guess it's because "liberals" are generally "younger" and they'd much rather listen to something like the Top 100 hits or the music station instead of the talk radio.

I think it's the station themselves.
Conservative radio has a lower frequency (560, 740, 880), where the reach is far stronger for greater distances.
Liberal radio has higher frequencies (1010, 1100, 1560), where the reach is not as good and can get interrupted easier by terrain problems.

Because Republicans have more money from the ads to support their shows. Most Ad Agencies consider themselves big business and are more likely to look out for themselves. Unfortunately, its a ruthless business. Conservatives enjoy keeping the population ignorant with the music they choose, the news they want to hear, and the artists they want to promote. It's what keeps them in their cool offices and leather chairs.

I can only speak for myself as a Liberal, and to be honest, I don't feel the need to tell people how wrong they are and shove my oppinions down their throats. When I listen to conservative radio or news I feel that......so maybe we just don't care to be that anal?

People would rather listen to lies than the truth. That is why Liberal radio is not successful.
