I'm tired of being considered as DISabled. I want to be independent, & I'm tired of living off of SSI & Social Security. I wanna work.

You seem to be able to work the computer keyboard ok. Have you considered a career in computers?

You keep saying that you have a college education and in the same breath you say you are disabled and on SSI.
If you managed to work your way through college then I really do not believe that you should be taking money from disability when others that can not work have a hard time getting it.
Stop bitching about it and get up off your *** and get a job.
Disability has a clause in it to where you can TRY to hold down a job for a certain amount of time without losing your benefits. If you are able to work past the allotted time then you do not need disability and if you cant then ..........you cant, continue to draw your benefits.
My main thing is.......if you are capable of working then why are you taking money away from people who really cant work? And why are you taking money from all these hard working people that pay into their social security for THEM to use in their old age?

get a job....depending on what challenges you face, you can get a job using your computer. Are you good with numbers? Accountants can work from home on a computer. You could prepare income tax. Maybe you are good with words. Write novels, or poems or magazine articles. Maybe you are compassionate towards people...become a therapist/psychologist. You can be whatever you want to be....remember Wilma Rudolph the Olympic Champion? Well, she was never supposed to walk again (when she was a child) and nothing could stop her! She got her gold medal on the track! And there were no "special olympics" at that time.
