Personally I like the Nuva ring. You put it in and it stays in for 3 weeks then you remove it for a week. Usually you will have a short period inthat 4th week. Another alternative would be an IUD. The doctor places it and you can leave it in for upto 10 years.

Nuva Ring
+ you are in control of when you start and stop your birth control method
- you have to pay any perscrption costs

IUD
+ it is in and you don't have to worry about remembering to put it in or take it out
- you have to have a doctor place it and remove it

Hope this information helps! But don't forget to bring the condoms!
