On Sunday - had tried to spend some quality time with my older teen boys by doing something different with them - driving to a different city and taking in a tour of a Chocolate factory - going to the States to look around/shop - having dinner out at a nice place - an all day excursion.
It just seemed to be bickering bickering complaining complaining - why is the line up so long - do we have to go there, why do we have to look at this, no I don't want to go there, no I don't want to eat there, and so on and so on and so on. These are not little kids and we had planned the day for weeks since it was my holidays.
Just tried to do something special one day for the three of us and not even a thankyou - they realized finally I was upset on the way home so it was a quiet 1 1/2 hour drive home - I didn't cry in front of them but I was crying on the inside if that counts for your question.
The 19 year old did come to me later and said he had a good time and gave me a hug, a kiss and said thankyou.

Last night, sadly, and before that on the 9th of July when France lost in the final at the World Cup, I cried many tears during that tournament.

The last time that I cried, it was when I had called a friend. This particular friend "went off on me", in other words he had started to yell @ me. When he does this, he always misunderstands my words and intentions. After the phone call had ended, I could feel tears streaming down my face. I felt hurt because of the way he had handled me.

I kind of cried last night, my mum and I were subjected to abuse from a local gang. I wasn't crying because I was scared, I cried because it made me think how sad, shallow and brainwashed some of todays youth are. I'm 18 and would never ever do anything like what they do. It's scary to think that there are more teenagers like them aka "Chavs" than myself, who actually care about their standard of life. Oh well, what can you do? It's scary to think of what kind of world MY future children will be living in.

Like one of the first answerers, I cried yesterday, because our dog died on Monday after being run over. She was a happy little dog, so full of life, so friendly

Today.... I had a very vivid dream last night about my ex boyfriend (we split up at the end of last year) we are both still friends and keep in touch, we both now are seeing new people. I dreamed that I met his new girlfriend (who was prettier than me) and she then told me that she had been seeing him at the same time as he was seeing me last year. It played on my mind all of this morning to the point of upsetting me. I knew I was being stupid as I knew he would have never have cheated on me (we split up on good terms, we just lived too far apart). It had played so much on my mind I text him and told him about the dream. He replied that she is larger than me and he didn't meet her until after we had split, to which I replied I already knew.

This morning as I was reading about the father who jumped from a hotel balcony holding his two children. The 4yr old boy died but his 2yr old sister survived. It happened in Crete, My heart aches for the mother of those two children. The father survived now he must live with the guilt for the rest of his life.
