What do you do to get through the wait?

Yes I hate waiting and it drives me crazy when I have to...I just talk on the phone and keep in contact with the person as much as possible...Hey did you know that IMing makes the day go by faster????? You should try it sometime... ha ha....

I have been away from my guy for 1 1/2 years with just two short visits. He's coming in November for less that 2 weeks. If anyone knows the true hate of the wait, I'm your girl.
I just keep busy, busy, busy. Running, reading, yahoo-ing.

I obsess. In grade school, I wanted the end of the school year to come so bad that i invented a new way to count it down. I called it the DPI, or daily percentage index. Its the percentage of the remaining school year that one day is worth. So, as the end gets closer, the numbers start going up faster.
Yes, I HATE waiting.

Yes, I use to use instant gratification and it put me into debt. So now I have to wait for the things I want. Its more rewarding to wait. I get thru the wait because I have no choice. I am on a strict budget.

Yes I hate waiting. I just try to not think about what it is I'm waiting for and occupy my mind with other things.

I've learned to have patience over the years. To get me thru the wait. Well because i'm a christian that helps because I can Pray and think about bible scripture. It helps a lot.

I would rather wait a long time for something I really want than get something I don't want straight away!

no... it makes the item that much better. Anything given to you with little anticipation will do little to make you value it. If you must wait for or earn something... it tends to make you value how you got it, and enables you to be patient for future rewards.
