It depends. If the accident was due to something that needed to be repaired by the landlord AND it happened some time after the landlord had knowledge of the accident (whether or not a report was filed), then there could be a good lawsuit in it?

Can you be more specific about the nature of the accident?

Absolutely, it is the landlords responsibility to repair anything that is considered a "Danger" on there rental property. Seek out a Lawyer that works Pro Bono

...................read your lease/rental agreement.....what is the nature of your injuries? what state are you in?...how did the accident happen?
