The purpose of marriage is to get out the best out of an individual, to build the positive things in the individual, to build quality family life and to enjoy life together. With these in mind, I can hardly see how it would be a good way to discover faults. everybody has faults and these will come out sooner or later.

I wouldn't get married just to show a man his faults.. and no most of the time men don't see their own faults. You have to show them. Sometimes if you do the faults that they have they'll get annoyed at the faults and then you say "Its what you do, it's the only way I could tell you, you wouldn't listen before" but just try to tell him.. marriage hardly ever shows men what their faults are. Hope I've helped. Good luck.

God bless.

You should probably have some ideas ahead of time. I married my husband after only four months, but we spent every day of those four months together, so I had some ideas. It depends really not so much on his faults as YOUR expectations or ability to see them as faults or just personality traits. You can't change a person, and I don't see a guy knowing what his faults are anyway. I don't know what mine are (although I have a good idea what I do that is annoying), and my husband doesn't get offended by his own antics.

It's a good way for men and women to find out what their faults are...and learn to grow together and work with them. But that's not the reason to get married!

Don't know cause I've never been married, but I would think the answer is yes. I have alot of faults as is and I am seeing them without being married...I guess the wife would bring to light some other aspects. I think women would also find faults about themselves but women usually don't admit their faults.

no, its not a great way, sure it can make you realize a lot of things about yourself, but i wouldnt say that marrying is a good way to find out whats bad about yourself. marriage isnt about finding your faults, its about finding your strengths and building life where you both join powers to have a family or acheive goals that allow you to live a comfortable and happy life. if a woman tries to show a man his faults through marriage, he will soon be looking for someone else who sees the good stuff he thought his wife saw in him.

LOL Poor men, the way we gang up on them. I once read that the relationship between a man and a woman is about as natural as putting a giraffee with a dashhound! In other words, men and women are VERY different. One thing about marriage it is a good way to learn tolerance....LOL

LOL, I dont think they get married in order to find out what their faults are. Though for some I am sure that they find out very quickly which faults their spouse finds in them.
