ok, you know at the bar thing on the bootom of your screen? where it says start, then all of your icons, and what pages you have open? well on my right, i have icons such as charging battery, yahoo messanger, and theres this open space. whenever i hover it, it says...mIRC. when ever i click on it, it says a bunch of stuff i dont need. what is going on?

mIRC is a chat program. If you do a lot of chatting you may have inadvertently downloaded and not even realized it. Go to your control panel and then your add and remove programs then locate mIRC and click remove. That should uninstall it.

mIRC is a shareware internet chat client. People really don't really use it anymore. Go to your Control Panel, then Remove Programs/Software... find mIRC and uninstall it.

mIRC is basically a shareware program for windows. Nothing to worry about. Check out their website. www.mirc.com

it is a program to run irc, which is internet relay chat....it common turns another program to chat online.....it's like a community

i'm not sure what it is, but if you go into "my computer" and go to your install and uninstall programs, you can delete it and not have to to worry about it anymore

try and see if you can uninstall it. See also if your antivirus software is updated. go to spybot.com
