If she's wearing tank top I understand why she shaves. I dont think she is to young. Think about it, it would look bad for a girl to raise her arm with a tank top on and have hair under her arms. Just thinking about it you're like ew gross. I think the color will fade after she has been shaving for a while, I dont think it's nothing much.

The only darkening of skin (that is not directly exposed to the sun) that I am aware of is from excessive heat. A person's own body heat seems to "scar" areas of the body to be darker. In a caucasian person, that would be a brownish/red color. It primarily appears in the groin area. Have her check with a dermatologist. It may be allergies to some deodorant, perfume or powder. I don't believe it has anything to do with shaving.

I don't think the color of her underarms is related to shaving. It's more likely due to her natural coloration or perhaps even the deodorant she uses. Maybe you could switch brands of deodorants to see if the color fades away. And shaving isn't bad, but be prepared to have more than what you started with.

Sorry you really can not just 'get rid' of it, and the more you shave at a younger age it seems to be that the hair grows back thicker and darker...so no, sorry.

if a girl has hair its really good that they shave, some girls are very hairy so they obviously start shaving at a younger age.
I think its a girl thing! i know my sister shaves her legs and shes 13 but shes a girly girl!
so for your sister thats kew! i mean you dont want her looking all hairy cuz thats more like a guy thing!

ok first, see a doctor about that coloration.
A girl should start shaving whenever she starts feeling self conscious about it. There's nothing wrong with it. Actually, she should start shaving her underarms as soon as she gets hair there.....

It is a bad thing, if you shave too young your hair gets thicker and more course. If you wait to shave you will have a smooth coat of hair only not stubbs. : ))
