Because the guy is safe. To flirt with a taken guy means that nothing will come of it, and on the off chance that it does the girl has a secret that she is somehow better then the man's soon to be wife.

First of all. How are they supposed to know if he is engaged? You didnt give him a ring, so it's not obvious. Secondly, just because he is engaged, does not make him married yet. 9 times out of 10 even though you are engaged you arent getting married.

Because they think it is funny to watch you get mad and they know he is not going to harrass them later. I would just say "aren't I the luckest girl on earth" or " Isn't he hot girls that is why I am going to marry him and never let him go".

I don't know, but they probably did not know that he was engage. II think more women should respect a man who is engage. I just don't think that is right.
