just be yourself....people will like you.. i would check out what's in style in the little town.

Everyone is new as a Freshman so you should not have problems making friends. Maybe there is someone in your neighborhood that you could get to know before school starts so you will know someone on your first day? Join after school clubs so you will meet people with similar interests. Be aware that here in the US we get uncomfortable when someone stands too close. Good luck!
