My number one fave lez movie of all time, as of this moment, it's Imagine Me and You starring Piper Perabo and Lena Headey. It's sweet, romantic, funny, dramatic, suspenseful, etc... everything you'll ever want in a lesbian movie. Heheh... Then the rest of my fave lez movies are: Lost and Delirious, Saving Face, D.E.B.S., But I'm A Cheerleader, Better Than Chocolate, The Truth About Jane and Show Me Love.
As for gay movies, I love The Birdcage starring Robin Williams and Nathan Lane. That is just hilarious! I can watch it over and over and never get tired of it. Oh, of course Brokeback Mountain is my 2nd fave gay movie. ;o) 3rd is The Broken Hearts Club... Dean Cain as a gay man.. sweet! ;o)

Sex and the City. It's not a movie, but it's shot in the same format, and the quality of the actors is the same, if not better. I don't really know about the representation of the gay lifestyle, as much of the time it is on side stories, but many of the issues covered are very revalent to the gay community. Jesus. Fart. I agree with Darkcharos; Brokeback Mountain is a movie that was spellbinding. It set a precedent for future gay movies to live up and measure themselves by. It was pragmatical the stage to illustrate that not every gay male is a sissy or feme (there is nothing wrong with feme's or sissy; that's why the flag is rainbow in color) but a masculine love between two men.
The cinema photography was absolutely brilliant along with the musical score. Oh course the director Ange Lee was spectacular. It also showed that gays have made strives to overshadow stereotypes.

the action picture "waiting? ok!" grow to be truly good. it grow to be on the gay channel once and its humorous. the lady has this truly flamming gay 12 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous son who ought to be a cheer chief and her useless beat travelling salesmen brother strikes in and finally ends up being a father verify to the newborn who the mummy loves yet doesnt desire him to behave truly gay and their gay neighbor makes the boy a dress out previous curtains for a school play or something like that. its a comedy action picture.
