not sure y, i am on prozac for pms and peri menopause, but lately its so bad, I feel down , worthless hpeless and sad. any suggestions usually im a happy go lucky person

Find your favorite thing. Visit your favorite friend. Do something you have always wished to do. (Something happy of course). The scary thing about being in a depression is that people often commit suicide because they hate themselves. Be careful not to let that happen to you. Ask a psycoligist if you need help. Make sure you also tell someone. Then they can do things that will cheer you up. Good luck and have a great day.

Every one can feel depressed but most people are returning to normal feelings within a week or two.
If you are depressed for more than two weeks and specially if your feeling interfere with your daily activities, you maybe suffer from the depression.
The depression is severe mental illness and should be treated by the professional (MD or LPN).
The following are symptoms of the depression:
Constant sadness, Lack of motivation, Irritability, Trouble concentrating, Feelings of isolation, not as involved with family and friends, Loss of interest in favorite activities, Hopelessness
Feeling worthless or guilty for no reason, Thoughts of death or suicide, Fatigue, Low energy, Trouble sleeping, Significant weight change.
Remember that help is needed to overcome depression!.

I think all you need to do is go out and find your self a great guy. I'm guessing the problem is that you don't have anyone there to be with you though what your going though right now. You seem like a woman with level head on her shoulders. You need a man.

Well get out and do things with your closest and best friends in the world and don't let the weight of the world be carried just on your shoulders
