Ronald Reagan was not the devil. Saying that anyone is the devil is to deny their humanity, and to deny the humanity of devilish people is to deny the devil within your own human self. And that way humans can justify their own horrible acts (we're human, so we'd never do that!) while condemning those of others (he's the devil, so obviously he'd do that).

Besides, it's pretty obvious that Katie Holmes is the devil, because no one would suspect her.

As to the government: that's just bloody unfair. The government is doing its damndest to lie about everything; if you only notice 9/11 you're going to hurt its feelings. It's just trying to do its job; at least give it some credit for its other areas of skillful and blatant dishonesty!

There are three kinds of ignorance. I have the first two kinds on different subjects. That is understandable, as we cannot know everything. The third is duplicitous and should not be tolerated.

1. Having never been exposed to the information. For example, I do not know how to speak Urdu. I haven't had the opportunity to learn it.

2. Having the opportunity but not taking it. For example, I do not speak Italian. I could have learned it in school, but chose not to.

3. Faking lack of knowledge. When I don't know something, I admit it. However, I generally don't pretend to not know something I do know. For example, I'd never ask your questions. I know that the US did not lie about 9/11.
