It costs $300,000 per week to go to Copperfield's resort in the Bahamas. It would take me a whole lifetime to save up that much money for a week's vacation.
Besides, back in about the 5th grade I read that the Fountain of Youth was discovered in Florida by Juan Ponce de León after he was looking for it in Bimini.
Finally, it's cheaper to go to Lourdes, France. And, their water might even really work. People do not usually die from aging. It is disease that claims their lives.
Oh yah, Copperfield's real name is David Kotkin. He was performing professionally in his home town of Metuchen, New Jersey, at the age of twelve. Soon thereafter, he became the youngest person ever to be admitted to the Society of American Magicians.

Personally, I think this is a grand way for Mr. Copperfield to gain publicity and hype for his next "big illusion" also, he's turning 50 soon, so he may be having his mid life crisis.
Maybe he wants to rent those 300,000 dollar a week resorts to celebrities because his vegas act is dwindling....
bottom line, i won't believe a work until i see those reports from the "Scientists" :)

What I can't get over is that the resort costs $300,000 for a week to stay there! I'm trying to figure out how many years I'd need to work to earn that! LOL!
It floors me that people have cash like that to spend on report properties, with or without "magical fountains."

I am sure it is an illusion but if you plant a seed many will grow to believe it, and if you believe hard enough it may work for you.....So, I would give it a go if offered. Only thing I would have to loose is my 40 year old complexion. LOL

I believe that it is a possibility that there were more minerals in the water than Juan Ponce de Leon was used to and that that made him healthier, which allowed him to live longer than the average man.
