Not the weatherstrip around the doors but the stuff the windows slide up and down in.

Its been a long time since I've seen one of these, but you want to remove the glass first.

To remove the glass, first position the glass about half way down. Then remove the door inner panel. There should be screws on the door handle, and the arm rest inside the finger grasp area. The panel itself is held on with what we called Christmas Trees. You'll might destroy these when you pull the panel off.

It is probably a good idea to make yourself a small tool. If you can find a flat carving fork, that's probably all you'll need. Insert the tines on either side of the trees to keep the paper backing of the inner panel from ripping out. Once you've got all this done....

You'll have a plastic liner sort of glued on to the metal of the door. Take this off (you'll want to put it back on later, because it sort of keeps the noise down).

Now you should be able to get to the screws holding the glass into the window regulator. Once these are off, you can carefully lower the glass into the door, where you can leave it while you change the upper guide.

Simply pull the guide (what you refer to as weather stripping) off the door. You'll want to have a new one on hand. The new one should grip the metal flange of the the door. Reverse the above procedure.
