cramping during early pregnancy is normal and so is a small amount of pinkish or brown blood. If you pass any clots and/or the blood is bright red call your OB/GYN. They will probably do an ultrasound and try to detect a heart beat they can also do blood tests to determine the amount of hormone in your blood produced by the baby when your pregnant. Over a few day period they can retest these levels to find out if they are raising or falling. Good luck. I know how scary it can be...I had cramps and bleeding at 7,10 and 11 weeks and I'm still pregnant!

Well mild cramps every now and then are normal, but the clot or tissue is NOT. U need to go to the DR.'s right away. 8 wks along is dangerous. Odds of miscarriage usually drop around 12 wks along.

the cramps are really normal sometimes but if u are having a discharge of a blood clot and if the cramps get worse and u bleed go to the emergency room!!! But if u aren't having really bad pains set a doctors appointment and tell them what is happening. Better safe than sorry!

I had cramping nearly every month around my normal period time with each pregnancy but The clot or tissue would be a concern. You should call you OBgyn and maybe make an appointment..

When I had a miscarriage, I felt it coming out. It was like a big ball of blood but I was having cramps that felt like I was in labor. I would go see the doctor. If it is a miscarriage you might need a dnc. It is possible that your body is getting adjusted to the baby, but I can't imaging clumps being normal.

I am 6 weeks pregnant and am crampy all the time. Doc says its normal as long as there's no bleeding. You should get the tissue thing checked out. it may be nothing...but what if it is something? Better safe than sorry.
My doctor's office has a nurse line where you can call a nurse for advice. Perhaps your office has this and he/she can either reassure you or give advice about making an appointment.

Having cramps is normal during pregnancy especially during the first few months. Your body is growing and that's why your having cramps.
I have heard that loosing some tissue is also normal although I have never experienced this.

Sometimes you will cramp during pregnancy, sometimes even spot. But anything clotted or lumpy needs to be seen or at least talked about with a dr. I have had some ppl tell me they passed blood clots early in pregnancy, but nothing I ever read made it sound like it was okay. If you have ANY doubts call your dr, at least then you won't have any "what if" questions down the road.

These are questions you need to direct to a doctor, honey. The cramps may be digestive or otherwise unrelated to the pregnancy, but you should let a physician figure that out. I think any discharge during pregnancy is justification for a trip to the doctor or emergency room.
