I see him getting 55+ this year. Edmonton, despite losing Peca and Pronger will still be a decent team this year.

Depends who his linemates are, but I don't see any of the oilers really lighting it up this year. Sykora will probably get about 15-18 goals and about 20 - 25 assists. Probably between 35-43 points. Considering who played with on the Devils and Ducks, he needs good lines to be effective.

The name of the game is happiness and good partners. In NY Petr had admitted he was miserable and wouldn't think of ever resigning there. In Edmonton he has a chance to be happy again and when players are happy they perform (i.e. Selanne and various others that don't come to mind right now) Also in Edmonton he will be happy with buddy Hemsky, who is a good friend of his and Elias. If anything they can make a nice new duo, being that Hemsky doesn't like to shoot but has wicked shot and a pretty nice pass, Petr and Ales can mix it up, and I'm sure they should both break 50.

probably, if the going is stable, i'd say Sykora could fall between 60 and 70 factors. it incredibly is right although. 80 factors is greater beneficial than appropriate. I heavily isn't too disillusioned if that prediction is shown incorrect although. :P besides, Ekman became out with an elbow harm from like December to March. (it incredibly is a good number of video games neglected, so it is not too curious, sshueman. yet i visit declare that even till now he became injured he did no longer galvanize me as much as i presumed he would together with his point of play in San Jose.) Even in SJ although, he in no way broke 60 factors. i did no longer anticipate him to get 70 or 80 factors his first season with the Pens. additionally, Crosby and Malkin together in no way an eternal fixture together final season. coach MT likes to alter it up, and off course he prepare some lines that did no longer artwork out, yet he became in a position to journey lots of those that did at a similar time as specific gamers have been warm together. (occasion: Ouellet-Christensen-Roberts became diesel for some video games.) i think of Crosby, Sydor, and Malkin appears like a competent line on paper besides the undeniable fact that it relatively is all as much as how properly they jell. Crosby & Malkin weren't a relentless offensively threatening line final season, yet i'm chalking that as much as Malkin no longer being completely used to the NHL and it being his rookie 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. (do a splash prognosis in case you probably did no longer watch a good number of video games, Malkin and Sid performed with a myriad of gamers. there became even a Malkin-Talbot-Laraque line for a interest, possibly 2. LOL. do a splash prognosis in case you do not have self belief me that Malkin had droughts the two. His production lessened in the direction of the tip of the season, exceedingly.)

Sure he's had seasons with 50 points+, but his point total has dropped over the last two seasons. I think he'll might reach 50 if he plays with Ryan Smyth.

He will far short of the 50 point plateau.

If he fits well with the Oilers players and coaching staff then, yes. I believe he certainly has the talent. I was such a fan when he was with the Ducks and was so bummed to see him go to NY! I still hope to see him do well. s.
