There are RARE instances where artists make they music available for free. Most music though must be paid for. If you hear it on the radio or see it in the store, then downloading it for free is stealing.

It is not illegal to download music from iTunes' store or any on-line music store in the Internet. However, downloading or uploading a music in any website WITHOUT the permission of the copyright's owner is considered to be illegal.

No. It is against the law for you to allow anybody to UPLOAD music. The other person is breaking the law, not you. As long as you don't have a shared folder, you are not breaking current law.

technically yes it is if you do not purchase it, if you have itunes you can purchase a song for a merely .99 cents per song...
just go to www.itunes.com
also if you let someone upload your music its against the law just like that other person said

i believe so... unless your paying for it. i would check out any site providing this service before using it to prevent any kind trouble!!
