mix types of makeup? It seems like all the makeup companys want you to use all the same product (like all mineral makeup or all liquid) but that just doesn't work for me! Do you mix them or do you use all one kind? What kind do you think is best?

Mix it up baby. Variety is the spice of life. Plus, I have never found one line to be the end all in make up. Try em all. Even when you find your favorite line, you won't like everything in it.

It is fairly common to mix makeup brands. I am not sure if you mean with just foundation and concealer, or all types. But yes, certainly most women will use different brands of mascara, lip gloss, lipstick, eye shadow, etc. In fact, I'm not sure I know one woman who exclusively uses one brand only.
It is generally best to spend a little extra money on foundation and such, but you can get a cheap(er) lip gloss that will work just as well as the expensive stuff. Also, with something like eye shadow and lip gloss, they're much more fun to play around with and not limit yourself to just one brand.

I use a mineral makeup. But I also you some over the counter eyeliner and eye shadows. I think you should do what looks best on you and what you like.

I use Bare Minerals it is a powder and it is made with all natural ingredients and you buff it on your face and you get all over coverage and it really looks great. But befor I started using bare minerals I would wear Mary Kay Foundation and covergirl face powder it's just what ever works for you,

I mix, mainly because no ones face is always identical (which the companies then to think) Everyones skin is totally different. I think that mixing is always the best. (if you go to the professionals they even mix things). Good luck.

i mix them because each brand have a certain product that is best..for mascara i use maybelline, for foundation clinic, for lip gloss marry kay, for masks and scrubs also clinic..
