i was denied SSI i'm 53 years old i can't find a job with in driving limits of my truck it's going to die soon... i have no nest egg... my daughter has been paying my bills and stuff but she is running out of money and i don't think it's her responsiblity to take care of me Yet!
What are my options what else can i do to support my self! I'm not getting any help from our government i have health issues
bad heart bad shoulder bad back and arthrisis...
Where do i go from here!

Maa'm Don't give up. Keep applying, but in the mean while, maybe you can try to apply for welfare in the meanwhile untill you hear from SSA, and I would hire one of those attorneys who don;t want an up front fee, but will take getting paid on the back end.

if you havent already aplly for social security disability also, and appeal both if denied-get a good lawyer that will help--all charge 25% and that is it, and they dont collect unless you do---i am currently in the same position only younger and having to live with my father while waiting for my appeal--you can also try state assisstance, and local churches, your local ymca, all of these places will provide you with resources for help, or help from themselves....if you have that many problems, and have them documented you should have a case for social security disability not just ssi...while you are waiting ffor a decision or on appeal, you qualify for full benefits from the state ie; cash assisstance, food stamps, and healthcare...

There are commercials on TV for lawyers that will help you if you've been turned down for disability and you only pay if they win. Good luck and God Bless. I know alot of young people who get disability for reasons such as "hives" That's BS.

You can support yourself with a computer. If you can have shelter and electricity, a computer and internet you can make it happen. If you want any ideas send me a message.

Get a SSI laywer, more applications are denied the first time. Get a laywer who can help you get approved.

Without a disability lawyer, you will not get SSI.
So get a lawyer fast and he can get you the disability,l they will have to pay you back to when you originally filed.
