Yes . Greenday songs are just awesome ! Good Charlotte is okay but Greenday is just way better than Good Charlotte .

Greenday OWNS Good Charlotte. OWNS. Greenday has been around for longer, and is more versatile. From punk songs like Brain Stew and Holiday to ballads like Time Of Your Life, they can do it all AUTHENTICALLY. Good Charlotte, is a teen-pop band. They are branded and marketed to the hilt and their songs reflect that. I suppose they are a good band for their "target audience" though.

Green Day broke the world out of the grunge movement and took on the world with some brand new sounds not depressing not poppy sorta just right so much influence in their songs but so original .....GC done sweet fu*k all for real music ...to poppy u wanna see a new punk band that are pretty good and oinly starting out.now.... go to http://www.geocities.com/random_evolution_theband and if u wanna hear a great one that never made it (and that im not in look up Operation Ivy)

I've said the same thing about bands like this (i.e. panic at the disco, fall out boy) both of those bands are meaningless all they do is think up some annoying melody and throw on some crappy lyrics they're some stupid mainstream band. i think there just punk rock bands that are a disgrace to rock and roll and the grandfathers of rock and roll such as Elvis Presley, the beetles, Jerry lee Lewis, and the rolling stones

i'm truthfully no longer a fan of eco-friendly Day, yet I do like numerous different bands you listed. try... Linkin Park Atreyu digital summer season Spineshank Slipknot Dragonforce Otep Evanescence gadget of a Down Lamb of God 3 Days Grace that's the kinda song that were given me more effective into metal somewhat than selection yet they're somewhat incredible bands nonetheless.

it's not about the band hun..its all about the lyrics...both bands sing about stuff they believe in, and theRE are none better than the other..however if u had said, which lyrics hit home the best, then i'd have to say GREENDAY...they sing some seriousLY WICKED tunes..they ROCK!!!!!!!!!!! i luv em!!!
