I never had this problem before. Ive been sleeping with 1 guy for the last year. We used condoms most of the time, but sometimes we didnt. He just wanted to feel me without it a few times thats why. I know its stupid but I really trust him and think hes clean.. Anyway after we had sex, my discharge has been white, milky looking. not clumpy. just smooth creamy ! (sorry nasty) the main prob is that it has a nasty strong sour/buttermilk smell to it! It sometimes feels like its itchy but sometimes not. he is very aggressive during sex that it hurts and i dont enjoy it.He said I taste a lil stronger than normal but he thinks nothing is wrong. Im angry at him because he seems useless and Im afraid if he gave me some kind of STD or something. Can someone tell me what they think it is? is it a bacterial infection, yeast infection or allergic reaction? or STD!!! pls help! thanks

Normal vaginal discharge has several purposes; cleaning and moistening the vagina and helping fighting infections. Although it's normal for the color, texture and the amount of viginal fluids to vary throughout a girl's menstual cycle, some changes in discharge may indicate a problem.
If you think you may have a problem, see a doctor as soon as possible. First though, It helps to learn some of the differences between normal and abnormal vaginal discharge this will help you reconigize change that may occur. Normal vaginal fluids can somewhat in texture and color.

. Changes in color that is caused by vaginal bleeding or spotting that is not a menstrul period
Vaginal infections, such bacterial vaginosis, candidiasis (Yeast infection) and tricomoniasis are common causes of abnormal vaginal discharge, some infections are transmitted by having sex, such as bacterial vaginosis or yeast infection.
They can be somewhat thin, sticky, and elastic or thick and gooey. Vaginal fluids should be clear, white or off- white in color. Its important to keep an eye out for changes in vaginal fluids.

. Changes in oder ( especially an unpleasent oder)
. Changes in color or texture ( especially greenish, grayish, or anything looking like pus)
. Vaginal itching and burning, swelling, or redness
. Although the symptoms of these infections can be very similar, there are some differences to look for.
. Yeast Infection, may cause your dischage to become thick, resembling cottage cheese. A yeast infection usally does not cause a strong oder, but it may cause servere itching and burning.
. Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) may cause your discharge to be heavier than usual the fluids may become foamy or frothy and grayish color. BV often causes vaginal fluids to have an unplesent fishy oder.
Trichomoniasis, a common sexually transmitted disease (STD) may cause a musty stale oder discharge may become grayish or yellow - greenish and may become thicker Tricomoniasis causes vaginal and painful urination .
It's very important to see your doctor or go to a teen clinic if you have any symptoms of abnormal viginal discharge, This is really important for girls who have had sex, especially without a condom. Many STD's cause changes in vaginal discharge or cause other infections as well.

First of all, don't freak out. Stay calm. Getting upset won't do you or anyone else any good.

Secondly, make an apointment with your dr. Tell them what's going on. If you're worried about STD's, talk to your dr. about that too.

If you're having trouble affording birth control, the Health Dept. can help you with that as well. It's usually given on a sliding scale (depending on income) and can be only a small change for services to no charge at all.

As for what you're seeing, I've had it before. It was a simple vaginal infection, though there are different kinds...not all are YEAST related, some are bacterial.

Just talk with your dr. They can tell what kind it is and give you the proper medications to treat it. Do it as soon as you can letting an infection last too long isn't good for the cervical cells either or your body.

You have a bacterial infection. It's not yeast or the discharge wouldn't be smooth. It's simply a build up of bacteria in your vaginal area and that's all. Go to your doctor to make sure and to get antibiotics. The itch is all a part of it. It is not caused by anything other than a build up of bacteria. I had one just a little while ago and my internist warned me off of douches and said that was a big cause of bacterial infections in women and we don't even know it. It was what was causing my infection, and the more I smelled that foul odor, the more I douched; the more I saw that discharge, the more I douched. Bad idea. I have since stopped douching and I used the antibiotic she gave me and I have not had any further problems. Again, go see your doctor because, though I seriously doubt it, it could be something other than that. I have never had an STD so I don't know if you are describing symptoms of an STD, but I have had bacteria and yeast infections, as have most women in the world and I have had a man lose his mind over it, as have most women in the world and it's all gravy now.

Sour Smelling Discharge

It sound like you guys use a condom most the time? So, you don't have unprotected sex that often, right? It sounds like your body isn't used to his semen. I know that when my boyfriend got out of prison(10 years) we never used protection and at first his semen would have a fishy odor, which made me smell fishy afterwards.(Gross, I know) It took me a while to figure that out. Anyways, Idon't think you have anything to worry about. As far as your discharge being milk looking. That sounds very normal as opposed to being clumpy. Clumpy discharge sounds like a possible infection. Just to be safe, I would go get checked out. Definately if your having slight itchiness.

Get to your doctor ASAP and have this checked out...and PLEASE have learned your lesson re: using condoms...him wanting to "feel you" isn't worth you having to go through getting over some bacterial condition or an STD of ANY kind...

You may also try WebMD, and see if you put in your symptoms there, if something comes up...discharge can mean a lot of things though...but the odor isn't a good sign...

Don't put this off...get it seen to immediately...take care of you!

It may be an STD and you don't know if he is clean or his mouth so you should stop having sex with him and get checked out because the only way you will know is to get checked out. It sounds to me like you don't trust that he is healthy so to eliminate all the worry is to stop having sex with him and go get checked out. And if your test comes out to be negative, then take that as a lesson learned and stop having unprotected sex because in the long run all those STD's can ruin your fertility.
