alexander, sure he's not gonna have a season quite like last year, but he's got a great o-line, one of the best qbs in the league, a better wr group, and jerramy stevens a year older and better. meanwhile tomlinson has an unproven qb, no significant receiving threat besides gates, and an o-line that isn't close to seattle's

i would take LT, everyone forgot about LT after last year because Alexander had an outstanding year, and LJ had an outstanding second half of the season. LT is gonna be just as good as he always has been - the number 1 running back in the NFL. Alexander is not gonna have a year anything like last year because his O-Line is changed. LT has the advantage of receiving as well, and Rivers looks like he is gonna be pretty good, so id definately go with LT

This is a tough pick for you because both Alexander and LT are slated for monster years. If I were you, I'd have to go with Alexander. LT has issues at QB and WR, as well as the other team's defense bringing everyone including the coaching staff at him and his offense is more primitive than Alexander's, where if you key on the run, Hasselbeck will eat you alive with his receivers, so for my money, the wise pick is Alexander. Just beware of the Madden curse

Alexander!...True LT is more versital but you have a QB that isn't proven so not only could his receiving game be hurt, but the Def will key on LT more until Rivers can prove the LB's have to stay home...again I would pick Alexander...His blockers will do just fine...his speed is what hurts Def's, not his tackle busting!

If you already have LJ then it doesnt really matter b/c either alexander or LT will do awesome. I dont expect LT to run any more than he did with brees there. Rivers will throw to gates alot and he'll also use LT thru the air. I'd go with LT.

Isn't close for me. LT is the best runner and pass catcher in the NFL and he rarely misses a game. Tomlinson is #1

I'd pick Alexander. Defenses will be keying in too much on LT with Brees gone and an unproven QB stepping in.

i would pick shaun alexander, mainly because he can run the ball long distances and he is very aware on the field. although, because he did so good last season, defenses might be ready for him this season, but i bet he will still be a good pick, but on the other hand, Tomlinson is very good at recieving, while Alexander hasn't really shown much on that angle. but either way, i would pick alexander, but its all up to you.

Alexander is the safer pick....too many questions in SD with Rivers now at QB.

I'd pick Larry Johnson, because he almost lead the league last year and didn't play that much
