You need to do lots of research. Check out either High Performance Pontiac (Firebird is almost the same), Hot Rod, Car Craft, etc. for similar swaps. At the very least (off the top of my head):
Bigger radiator
Rear axle ratio
Beefier transmission (?)
front springs

Is alot to put into details here. Will need motor of course, engine harness, and computer. Upgrade the drivetrain maybe. Also motor mounts, and also some other sensors that the V-6 don't have. Headers, and other exhaust. And possibly flexible fuel lines, cause the V-6's location of fuel delivery maybe different too. Hope thats a start.

It would be easier to buy a camaro with a v8 in it all ready. the suspension/ brakes/ transmission/and electrical are all different.

OK sorry to say you can't do it.
You are getting into to many modifications to make it fit. Most of the parts engine, trans and suspension will not change.
You will have to change body mounts, transmission mounts and engine mounts.
