There are three kinds of ignorance. I have the first two kinds on different subjects. That is understandable, as we cannot know everything. The third is duplicitous and should not be tolerated.
1. Having never been exposed to the information. For example, I do not know how to speak Urdu. I haven't had the opportunity to learn it.
2. Having the opportunity but not taking it. For example, I do not speak Italian. I could have learned it in school, but chose not to.
3. Faking lack of knowledge. When I don't know something, I admit it. However, I generally don't pretend to not know something I do know. For example, I'd never ask your questions.
