At first it sounds good, but when you think about it what do you mean everyone in the world? I mean do you think the people living in third world countries would celebrate a holiday called National Peace Day? Those people don't have peace, they probably don't even have running water or shoes. Don't get me wrong, I am all about peace but I just don't know how this holiday will help anything. So with that I guess I am against it.

If everyone in the world celebrates it, then it isn't "National" Peace Day, is it?
That would be International Peace Day.
Hell, I'm for it, if I get the day off work.

if it's a national holiday and I get the day off I'm FOR IT. But I don't want a holiday where I have to buy things. I'm broke enough.

For it...most definately...I like your thinking. Come to think of it though, I'm not sure it would work. Some of these people on here would only like it if they get the day off when people in other countries have to work all the time just to make ends meet. You see how these people are. They only want something which is helpful to them. If it isn't they are against it. It would just never work but I do like your thinking.

for..but it's pointless cuz a lot of people will not actually do it....i think there should just be no wars, but that's not going to happen until everyone is dead....violence is so pointless!
