I have a Canon PIXMA iP1000. Where can I download the software and how do I make it run?

I haven't been able to make the program run. Why?????

I would check that I had the latest software release. You can get it from the MFG. uninstall the old version and install the new, see what happens. Make sure the OS and driver and printer are on same page. Sitting in corner and crying does not help but makes me feel better
