There is a problem with this kind of question. The answers tend to reflect years of indoctrination. In the US public opinion tends to be on the side of Israel. The Arabs are the BAD GUYS. In Egypt and the Arab world the opposite is true. The Israelis are the BAD GUYS. So first reaction would be no two state. Israel is an intruder on Palestinian land and this should not be divided. And anyway there is no such thing as a two state solution. Unless it is embraced by the people of both contestants it can not be imposed by UN resolutions or local governments. It is not a viable solution. There are strong factions on both sides that will fight such a solution.

In general, most Egyptians are pro a 2 state solution. The state of Israel has been recongnized by the Egyptian government and the public since the camp david peace treaty. There is diplomatic relations between both countries.

Since Israel is an existing state, Egyptians are seeking the establishment of a Palestinian state to end the decades of bloodshed. The details are however widely debated because it is a question of which lands should the Palestinians get! Israel does not want to retreat to pre-1967 terrirotires, which most Egyptians see as the legal and fair territory devision method.

The issue of Jerusalem is also very important since thosuands of Palenstinains live there and the Aqsa Mosque is there.

Overall, a 2 state solution is favoured and accepted, the problem lies in the details of the solution not the concept it self.
