it does work for excessive sweating. I have used it in the past in some social settings when I know I will be a little sweaty and nervous. I dont recommend it for everyday. I use Secret daily

I personally HAVE used this product, and I swear by it. I had the same exact problem about 7 years ago, and a friend recommended Certain Dri. You can only buy it at like a Walgreens or CVS; it does NOT require a prescription. It runs about $4-5, I think. I bought it and used it every night, using my regular deodorant during the day. It itched like crazy the first 2 weeks, but that eventually went away, along with my pointless underarm sweating! I decreased how much I was using it, going from every night, to every other night, to a couple times a week, to a couple times a month, etc. It is now 7 years later and I haven't used it in over a year. I always keep some on hand, just in case it starts up again, but I think those sweat pores are closed up for good! I love this stuff!!

I have used Certain Dri for about a year now. It works really well for me. I had the same problem. Its worth the price because you don't have to use as much as other deorderants so the bottle last a lot longer.

What you want to do is look on the back of the anti persperant for the highest percentage of aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex gly. It is the actual antipersperant ingredient. I think most are around 16% to 18% however I know Mitchum for womem is 20%. If none of the higher percentages work you maye have ultrahydrosis or excessive sweating syndrom in which case you can go to a doctor and they can prescribe something stronger or you can get botox injections under your arms to stop sweating.
