You can make your computer say something by downloading programs such as "**** talker" which will say anything you type.

As for the mail. it's difficult to program a "you've got mail" sound if you're using email that is web based. If you're using OutLook then it's much easier. Goto

START > SETTINGS > CONTROL PANEL
then choose 'sounds and audio devices'
then click on the 'sounds' tab

This will list all the sounds currently assigned to your windows system, such as the one for log on and log off.

If you scroll down that list you should find one for
'new mail notification'

click on it, and from the drop down box you can select which sound you want to hear when you have new mail. The browse button allows you to choose a custom sound. Again this will only work for Microsoft Outlook. If you're using Thundebird etc then i don't have a clue but whack in "change mail sound, thunderbird" into google and you should find an article somewhere that might help.

Good Luck!

Depends on what kind of mail program you use, web-based or something like Outlook. If you go into the control panel of windows, and then to sounds, you can configure all the sounds your computer makes.
