I believe that the best state to be in is the state of confusion. That way, you don't realize how messed up GW has made this place.

Of course it depends on what you are looking for and most people will answer their home state.

If your looking for a low cost of living, then Alabama is the cheapest state to live in, including having the lowest property tax in the nation.

If its warm weather and sunshine then California, Hawaii, or Arizona.

If its large cities with everything the California, New York, Illinois.

You have to decide what your looking for first.

Florida is the best....Warm in the winter, warmer during summer, you get 2 weeks notice on a disaster about to happen, not like an earthquake, lots of sunshine and rain, cheap O.J. got an ocean AND a Gulf to play in, Disney-world, Busch Gardens, Miami, AND Key West!! What more could you ask for??

I live in Minnesota, so that's #1 for me. But Texas, Montana, and Alaska are all awesome too. But where I would really want to live based on location alone is southern California.

Texas,

It has a lil of everything. If you want it hot go south, and if you want it cold go north! You have the ocean, and not to mention we are the only state that could still become our own country!

California. land of sunshine, golden opportunity and nifty coastline views. I'll take the occasional earthquake every now and then for that.

California. We have a little of everything and California is beautiful... Mountains, beach, snow... It's expensive to live here but well worth it.
