I want this girl to be my friend but every time I want to go up to her I can't. Everytime I acually do I trip. If she's already next to me I"ll embares myself by opening my mouth, and nothing comes out, or I i'll say something really stupid or random

Best way to make a friend is to be a friend!
Just be yourself (not the klutzy one, just one of the guys) and think of her as such to start with. Unless you're wanting more than friendship, this should be pretty doable. Relax and just pretend she's like any other person you'd be comfortable with.
Say hi, keep it short to start with, and listen. (But have a question or two ready in case there's silence. Something like, how bout that so and so exam or did you have a good summer, what did you do, that sort of dealie)

We love friends because we know their weaknesses and still enjoy being with them. So basically being yourself, showing them that you care and would go the extra mile if they need you. Nothing like the old friends however.
