You don't have hemorrhoids because those are just painful bumps kinda like a big zit on your bottom. It doesn't matter if you're gay or straight, everyone eventually gets a hemorrhoid. You should go to the doctor if you have blood in your poop. There's nothing you can do over the counter.

Hemoroids are common in the older than 50 set. I've heard that truck drivers, life long desk people and others that sit for years on end to do thier job also are prone to get them. In any case it's not an uncommon thing for older people.

What you are describing doesn't sound like hemoroids. If the blood is dark and thick then that is problems farther up. Time to see a doc. If it's bright red then it is likely just irritation from wiping too much. Switch to a softer brand and or use anti-diareal medicines. If it persists see a doc or if you have more than a small quanity. Could be something far more serious and a Doc will have better advice than you can get on here about what to do about it.

Anyone can get hemorrhoids. There are several things that can contribute to hemorrhoids: hormones, not enough fiber in your diet, or straining when you go also sitting on hard surfaces for long periods can contribute or make them worse. If the blood is bright red then it is from small tears, if it is dark red or if you have clots it is a sign of something more serious.
1. see a doctor to confirm what you think is wrong
2. drink plenty of water and eat fruits and vegetables
3. try over counter fiber - ask the pharmacist they will be able to help pick the best one for you
4. use preparation H or tuck medicated pads to help relieve the discomfort.

Have your mom look at the sites I listed so that she can help you feel better. I hope this helps and that you feel better soon.

OK - hemorrhoids have nothing to do with being gay. I'm an OB nurse and I see them every day on new moms - so that shoots her theory.
As for the blood in your stool, if you were constipated, and pushed and strained, you could have broken a blood vessel in a hemorrhoid and caused the bleeding. If it continues, you should see a doctor. There are treatments for them that might help you.

That's ridiculous. Women often get haemhorroids during pregnancy due to constipation or pressure on the bowel. Chronic constipation can cause them if you have to strain a lot. Abusing laxatives doesn't help them either. I think you should see a doctor about the problems you're having, passing blood is never a good sign. You could have an ulcer.

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/pveh4
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.

Mommy is absolutely incorrect on that one, Sweetie. Roids is not a gay or straight issue. Just go to the doctor.

You have been very misinformed. My daughter has them. She could not sit without them hurting. She had to go to the doctor for relief. Sometimes if left untreated you will have to have surgery.
